Our Story

Thanks for stopping by. We, that’s Tiffany and Dan, have been animal lovers our whole lives. We both have fond memories of childhood pets and the joy they brought to our lives. You name it, we’ve probably had it. Dogs, cats, birds, snakes, rabbits, rats, fish, ferrets, basically a zoo. We have passed that love of animals on to our own children and enjoy nothing more than seeing them make their own memories with our family pets. We have also always believed strongly in doing what we can to help others, human and animal alike. In that spirit we began working with No More Tears rescue in 2016, saving dogs from puppy mills and helping them find their forever homes. Unfortunately, No More Tears decided to retire leaving a hole in the community and our lives. Not ones to just sit in the dugout waiting, we decided to take our experience with, and our passion for, animals and combine it with our other lifelong love, baseball, to found Safe at Home. Our goal is to help you find the perfect teammate. From rookies to veterans there is a spot for these dogs in your families lineup. We are a family run club that exists solely through the love and generosity of others. We appreciate your trust, your support, and can’t wait to work with you.
